101 Things About Me

These are in no particular order, just how I thought them up at the time. Some are more important than others. Some are just silliness.

I love a good ghost story.
My dream job would be to work for TAPS.
I’d love to learn photography.
I’d rather die happy than rich.
I’d rather have a few GOOD friends than a lot of acquaintances.
I can’t spell to save my life (Thank God for “spell check!!!”).
I like living in Colorado even if it is too right wing even for me.
I’m a “military brat.”
I lived in Germany when I was in high school.
I want to go back to Germany now that I’m an adult and can appreciate it.
I’ve seen the red light district (part of it anyway) in Amsterdam.
I wasn’t impressed by Paris.
I’d rather go to Italy than France again.
I dream of going to Scotland.
I want to get married on the bridge of the Enterprise.
At the time I’m making this list I am 37 years, 5 months, and 2 days old.
I miss the 80’s (sometimes anyway).
I think high school may have been the best time of my life and that makes me sad.
It took me 10 years to get my associates degree (3 going to school, 7 screwing off).
I plan on seeing Ireland before I die.
I plan on spending my 40th birthday in New Orleans.
I want to see Alaska before I die.
I hide behind my weight problem.
I’m afraid I’ve already met Mr. Right and was too busy to notice.
I once had a psychic tell me I’d die alone.
Even though I miss my family, I’m glad that I don’t live too close to any of them.
I want to have a baby.
I want a dog.
I’m probably the laziest person you’ll ever have the privilege of meeting.
I think being a party planner would be fun.
I’d like to learn to paint.
I love home improvement shows.
I wish I could do half the stuff on those home improvement shows.
I love to cook.
I hate cleaning up after I’m done cooking.
I think I’m funny even if no one else gets it.
My favorite season is fall.
My favorite holiday is Halloween!
I’m not always sure I believe in God.
I’m thinking of changing my religion.
I love to sing even though I can’t carry a tune in a bucket.
I want to visit Peru (maybe we’ll do that for my 40th instead of New Orleans. Everyone get your passports ready!!!)
I wish I was braver.
I’ve only ever been on one vacation alone. Boston for 2 days.
Even though I don’t think I’m totally unfortunate looking, I wish I was pretty.
My favorite movie is The Princess Bride.
One of my favorite movie quotes is “Endorphins make you happy. Happy people don’t shoot their husbands. They just don’t.”
I have a crush on Michael Buble (the singer, not the skater).
I love “old” music, the “standards.”
I don’t think that there’s an original idea left in Hollywood.
I wish I were more creative.
I hate mornings.
I can’t dance.
I’m afraid that the last time I had sex is going to be the last time I ever have sex.
I miss kissing.
I like popcorn with real butter.
I don’t like coffee.
I love drinking margaritas.
I prefer white bread even though I know wheat is better for me.
I wish I had paid more attention to what I ate when I was a kid.
I want my virginity back. OK, not really, but some days I wonder if loosing it was worth it all.
I am more naive than people think.
I think a good sense of humor is a turn on.
Smart is sexy.
I don’t care what anyone says about how immature it is; I love the Harry Potter books (and movies).
I like the original Star Wars movies better than the new ones.
I’m afraid I’ll never really be happy.
I believe in fairies.
I don’t want to know the magician’s secretes, I prefer to believe in magic.
I believe in UFO’s.
I think crop circles are real (some of them anyway).
I believe in aliens, and yes, I think that they have visited us.
I think vampires are sexy.
I watch entirely too much CSI.
My favorite Law & Order is SVU.
I own books that I’ve never read, CDs I’ve never listened to, and DVDs I’ve never watched.
I have the attention span of a 5 year old.
I like to color.
I hate yard work.
I like science fiction but I like fantasy better.
I have no patients.
I’ve never been arrested.
I often wonder what happened to this country’s morals.
I am for the legalization of marijuana.
I do NOT like Microsoft Office 2007.
I prefer vanilla ice cream and cake to chocolate.
I like rustic pottery.
I want to get married.
I want to make love in the rain.
My favorite song is Rod Stewart’s “Broken Arrow.”
My favorite color is black.
I like arts and crafts fairs.
I love farmer’s markets but often wonder if the “farmers” just didn’t buy their produce in bulk and are trying to sell it as “home grown.”
I have eclectic taste in furniture.
For as much as he pisses me off, at least having my brother living here means that there is someone to come home to.
I’m jealous of my friends.
One day I want to live in New York.
I sometimes wonder if I’ll ever finish college.
I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up.
I refuse to grow up.
